2009 Misfits Meet Up!!!!
This years first meet up was held at the TickedTICA cat show at The White Oak Leisure Center, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley, Kent on Sunday the 22nd of March. We had a really great day with lots of laughs and Sphynxy cuddles. To top off the day Paige made 2 kitten finals and went home with a very proud Mummy :-) Thanks to all who came to support us and to Lara, Wendy and Mel for showing your little Misfits so beautifully. Looking forward to the next one later this year!!
2008 Misfits Meet Up!!!!!
August 9th 2008 was our first Misfits Meet up event!!!
When a kitten leaves us here at Misfits we do offer lifelong support, unlike some it's not just words with us, we mean it. I try to visit all my previous cats and kittens at least once a year in their new homes, however as the number of kittens keeps growing the harder it is to do that so we decided to make an event at least once a year where everyone and anyone can come along and meet up with other Misfit owners/slaves :-) This year we deiced that the FB show in Worthing on the 9th of August would be a great place to hold it. We had a wonderful day with many of my previous kittens being entered into the show and some of my other previous babies Mums and Dads came along for support and acted as the cheering squad plus it was nice for all to meet up with friendly faces old and new ;-) A very BIG thank you to all who came and a special thanks to those who showed your babies so immaculately you all really did me proud :-)
As you can see we do all have a real laugh at the shows. This pic was taken at the Sphynx Special in Worcester on the 7th of May 2006. We decided to have a fancy dress day and make the Sphynx Special something to remember by everyone, I think it did the trick!
Cat shows are hard work and can be quite expensive financially and time wise as there is normally traveling and accommodation to pay for plus the show entry fees but the amount of fun that we all have it is most definitely worth it and the cats enjoy the day out and all the attention they receive.
